I know I said I’d only post once a week, and this is the third post this week, but I thought the following was worth pointing out.

I had completely given up on the Republican Senate (and apparently, with Hastert’s rush to support the criminal Rep Jefferson, soon the House) when I find this article by Rick Santorum (who, by the way, was another “class of ’94” freshman).

I had previously lambasted Santorum for appearing as a typical party loyalist on too many counts but this editorial authored by him has won my vote come November. The operative quote is:

if one were to imagine the worst possible way to reform our immigration system, it would probably look a lot like the immigration bill the U.S. Senate [just passed].

The Republicans, in general, are so out of touch they are going to loose MASSIVELY the mid term election.
